Musiquita arrives 1 hour before the performance to set up. They play a 45 min set and provide props/noisemakers for the children. We require at least 4'x7' of space and access to power for their setup. If the event is going to take place outdoors (e.i. in a park) we can come with our battery powered setup. It is useful for us to know approximately how many children will be in attendance and what the general age group is. Musiquita's current birthday party rate is $500 for the 45 min duo performance. This flat fee includes gratuity. If the drive is within 1 hour of Forest Hills, NY, there will be no additional travel fee. If the commute is more than 1 hour away, we ask for $20/hour of driving. If the performance is 3+ hours away, a $150 lodging fee may be necessary, depending on the timing of the event. To secure the booking a 50% deposit will be required. The deposit is non-refundable but in the event of cancellation it can be put toward a future booking. The balance is due 1 week prior to the event.
